Sausage and Pasta Skillet shared by Connie

1 tbsp olive oil
1 lb smoked sausage
1 c onion
1 tbsp minced garlic
2 c chicken broth (basically one can)
1 can diced tomatoes
1/2 c milk or heavy cream
8 oz any pasta (I used bowtie)
1 c cheddar jack cheese

Add olive oil to pan with onions and sausage.  Cook to light brown
Add garlic, cook for 30 seconds
Add chicken broth, toms, milk and pasta and s/p
Bring to a boil
Cover, reduce to low 15 mins or until past is tender
Turn heat off and add half cup of cheese.  Mix.  Sprinkle rest of cheese over top.
Serve
