You all know the routine. Most of us have done it year after year. Tonight, while watching Klondike, I decided I should go and start to plan some meals for next week. Payday is a way off yet but I can still get a rough idea. Many thoughts have gone through my mind on what to do. Do I go back to Weight Watchers? Do I do a low carb plan? Do I just try to cut back or pick a number of calories and stick to it? I am not sure so I might just try different things...or a combination.
One of the things I will do is weigh in tomorrow morning (yuck) and also go to the gym a couple of times a week to start off with. I am out of shape (yeah, I'll admit it) so just want to start slowly. I will get on the bike for the first week. After building up a bit more energy I will then do the treadmill. The third week will be a combination and after that we'll see how it goes. I know I will do at least 1 mile on the bike. It might not be much but it will be a start.
As to the food plan? I think I shall search out the Hungry Girl website. I have one of her cookbooks also which all the recipes in it are under 300 calories. I like her serving sizes so it's a start. One of the first recipes I might try will be Shepherd's Pie. I'll post the recipe separately so I can find it easier. I will also be posting some recipes that Connie shared with me over the weekend.
