You'll Need:

1 (3-pound) chicken, cut into 8 pieces, skin removed

6 carrots, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces
·
4 ribs celery, cut into 1-inch pieces
·
2 onions, cut into 8 wedges each
·
5 cups water
·
1 chicken bouillon cube
·
1/2 teaspoon salt
·
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

To Do:

In a soup pot, combine
all the ingredients and bring to a boil over high heat.

Reduce the heat to
medium-low, cover, and cook for 1 hour, or until the chicken is fall-apart
tender. Ladle into bowls, and serve.

- To make this a gluten-free recipe, use gluten-free
bouillon.
